Wilson Care

Wilson Care is an Intermediate Care Facility with 198 beds for the chronically mentally ill. Wilson Care is licensed by the State of Illinois and is approved for Medicaid, Medicaid Pending and many private insurances. We are located in the vibrant, Uptown neighborhood on the North side of Chicago.

Wilson Care provides specialized services to individuals with mental illnesses. Our facility is not an institution, but a community. Our focus is to develop and provide the tools needed by our residents to overcome the challenges presented by their mental illness.

We treat a variety of mental illnesses in our residential housing setting, including Schizo-Affective Disorder, Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia , as well as those who are dually diagnosed with a mental illness and substance abuse. 

Our psych-social rehabilitation programs include anger management, substance abuse groups & medication management. 

Wilson Care is committed to assisting our residents in the development of positive behaviors and meaningful activity in a healthy environment that can help re-establish proper life skills, self-esteem and thus, assist with the recovery and reintegration into the community whenever possible.

Wilson Care, located in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, provides psychiatric rehabilitation in a residential setting for chronically mentally ill adults, throughout all of the greater Chicagoland area, including, but not limited to Evanston, Skokie, and the North-side neighborhoods of Chicago - Edgewater, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, and Andersonville.
